Tri-State Area Master Gardener Association

TAMGA plant sale 2016

The Tri-state Area Master Gardeners Association is holding its annual plant sale, just in time for Mother’s Day! The sale will take place on Saturday, May 13, in the Gabriel’s parking lot at 211 Three Springs Drive, Weirton. The hours are from 9:00 a.m. to noon. One of the best things about the plant sale is that our Master Gardeners are on site to talk with you about your planting needs.

Plans are underway to have a large selection of plants, including herbs, vegetables, flowers, and shrubs. Outdoor flowers, both annual and perennial, can be had for either sunny or shady locations but, even if you don’t have a garden, don’t stay away; bring the outdoors in with some lovely houseplants.

Living plants are always a great gift for Mother’s Day, and this year T.A.M.G.A. is offering a very special way to give them. In addition to already potted flowers and succulents, for only $5.00 children can create their own fairy garden as a one-of-a-kind gift for Mom!
