Master Gardeners
Master Gardeners are volunteers who have a strong interest in gardening techniques and desire to help others. In exchange for the training they recieve, Master Gardeners agree to provide 30 hours of volunteer service the first year through the Extension Office. After the first years, Master Gardeners provide 12 hours of community service and take 6 educational hours to maintain their certification. for information about becoming a Master Gardener contact the Hancock County Extension Office at hancockcountyextension@mail.wvu.edu

Master Gardeners
Our Master Gardeners teach Meet the Plants in local 5th grade classrooms in Hancock and Brooke Counties. Each Fall, Master Gardeners may attend a Meet the Plants training class at the Hancock County Extension Office to become certified to teach in the local schools.
